| Okie Dokie, let's
see here. I was born on September 25, 1974 at Grossmont Hospital
in La Mesa, California. Upon arrival, I realized that I wasn't
the first kid. In fact, I had an older brother and older sister.
To this day, they both remain OLDER. Although they claim I was
adopted, my parents assure me that they are just being mean.
NOTE: Did you notice that the last
sentence above is in the present tense. That's because they
still tell me I am adopted. However, now that I am older and
wiser, I realize that if I were adopted it, everything would
make sense.
After recovering from the shock of
realizing that it took my parents two times before me to get
perfection right, I was ready to start living.
At the age of five I began
Kindergarten and created some incredible drawings. Too my
surprise, my parents (obviously smart people) placed my works of
art on the food dispensing unit. Since this was the place
visited second most often by the family (the bathroom ranking
#1), I was pleased with my progress.
At the age of 7, I began my early
research into what career I would strive for in my adult years.
I chose something great I assume, but I can't remember now what
that was.
At the age of 14, I got my first
computer.
At the age of 16, I got my
driver's license and began working for the retail outlet known
as Pacific Eyes & T's.
At the age of 18, I moved out of
my parents house (the youngest to do so).
At the age of 22, I worked for
several start-ups as a Director of Interactive Media, then as a
Web Engineer at Cisco Systems.
At the age of 23, I bought my
first home (the youngest to do so).
At the age of 24, I adopted my
dog, Samantha, a beautiful female Pit Bull (she was going to be
destroyed the next day, or so they tell me, but I rescued her
and to this day never let her forget it).
At the age of 28, I started my
career at RackSaver (now known as Verari Systems, Inc.).
At the age of 29, I became the
Manager of Marketing Operations at Verari Systems.
At the age of 30, I graduated
from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors of Science,
Information Technology degree (the youngest and only one to do
so in my family).
At the age of 31, I have now
started the intense renovations to my house. This is a serious
struggle as something bad lies behind every new phase of the
project. However, it wouldn't be any fun if it didn't.
At the age of 32, I continued the renovations. It was (and still is) a very slow process
as with all of my travel for work, I found that it is hard to do everything
you want in a quick timeframe. BTW, the bad things just keep coming. Ah, there was
some light at the end of the tunnel though... I was promoted to the Director of
Marketing Communications. All that hard work finally paid off.
What will this year at 33?..Well let me tell you what I've been up
to... everything. This time around (this year) it sure is interesting. Stay
tuned!
